Come Find Rest
Come Find Rest
Blue Ridge Hope Collection — Original 3 of 7
Of all the paintings in this collection, the meaning behind Come Find Rest reaches especially close to the heart of Hopeful Havens.
A little white church rests among the mountains as the last light of evening stretches across the sky. A garden grows around it, a pathway leads toward the door, and everything seems to whisper the same invitation:
Come find rest.
Not the kind of rest that simply comes from being still, but the deeper rest that comes from knowing we don’t have to carry everything alone.
This painting was created as a reminder of faith, refuge and the quiet hope that remains even after difficult seasons. The church isn’t meant to represent a building as much as what it points toward — Christ, grace, belonging and a place for a weary heart to rest.
Come Find Rest is part of my seven-piece Hopeful Havens Blue Ridge Hope Collection, where each original tells a small part of a larger story about faith, home, hope and the mountains I love.
